Lessons Learned Thus Far

1.  Google's Collaborative stuff is freakin useful;
2.  Have students set up new gmail accounts using my teacher gmail account to as the backup account should the password be lost;
3.  Have students set up a Completed Assignments collection right after they open a gmail account;
4. Create one shared collection for each class right when a new course starts so that I don't have to continuously share individual documents;
5.  Set up filters and labels as students email their class account for each new course;
6.  Remember to add each student to the contact list both in gmail and a separate document in google docs;
7.  Useful keyboard short cuts in google docs:  ctrl+shift+c (wordcount), ctrl+alt+m (insert comment), shift+enter (saves and closes the comment box)
